Adult Instruction

RCIA (Rites of Catholic Initiation for Adults)

No matter where you are in your faith journey, our adult instruction classes aim to answer your questions and prepare you for the next step, whatever that looks like for you. If you come from another faith, have no knowledge of God, or were brought up Catholic and did not receive all the sacraments (Confession, First Communion and Confirmation), there is a place for you in the RCIA. Becoming a fully fledged member of the Catholic faith generally requires two years of instruction. New members are traditionally received into the Church at Easter.

The RCIA classes take place in the parish centre on Thursday nights, from 19:15 – 20:30. First year candidates meet with Fr Greg Mitchell, while second year candidates meet with Fr Jonathan Vermaak.
