On Tuesday evening, August 15th, please join us for a musical bouquet of Marian music in thanksgiving for Mary’s intercessions. A number of meditations explore her different titles (ie Mystical Rose, Tower of David), along with musical works by Mozart, Elgar, Guilmant, Fauré and Hassler (and a few congregational hymns). It promises to be a beautiful and memorable event.
The name is inspired by a CD of Marian music put out by the London Oratory choir a few years ago which was entitled “Ave Virgo Sanctissima: A Garland for Our Lady”.
