From 30 June to 4 July, St Bernadette’s hosted its annual Holiday Club in the parish centre. This year’s theme was ‘Door of Hope: Holy Jubilee Year 2025’. Thank you to all who attended (we hope you had fun!) and to all those who assisted throughout the week.

In preparation for the Solemnity of our Holy Father St Philip, the solemn annual Novena begins in our church this Saturday 17 May. On weekday evenings (starting Monday 19th) from 17:30 to 18:00 we will meet for prayers and chant in honour of our Saint, including a stimulating meditation on an aspect of St Philip’s

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday and culminates in the joyous Easter celebration. Our parish commemorated Palm Sunday with the traditional blessing in the hall before morning Mass, followed by a procession into the church. The Triduum, which encompasses Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil, was a solemn and beautiful time of devotion.
