“Garland for Our Lady” – Friday 15 August 2025 at 17:30 in the church
In preparation for the Solemnity of the Assumption this Musical Meditation reflects on the dignity of our Blessed Mother. Sung by a choir, this Oratory features music and hymns from the great Catholic choral tradition.
This year, the programme for our “Garland for Our Lady” Musical Oratory includes music by Mozart, Elgar, Guilmant and Hassler interspersed with extracts from Saint John Henry Newman’s meditations on our Blessed Mother.
