We share with sadness the news of the death of Mrs Rita Mitchell, who faithfully served St Bernadette’s as parish secretary for 23 years, from 1996 to 2019.
We give thanks to Our Lord for Rita’s many years of dedicated service to our parish community, and for the contribution she made to the life of St Bernadette’s. Her Requiem Mass took place at St Bernadette’s on 14 October.
We extend our heartfelt condolences and the assurance of our prayers to her sons, Nicholas and Fr Gregory of the Oratory, to Nicholas’s wife, Naomi, and to their children.
May the Lord grant Rita eternal rest, and may He console and strengthen her family at this time.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
